Overview

Jair Benitez is a talented music producer who wants to expand his services in Utah. As a music producer, he already had clients internationally. On top of that, he planned to create music events of any kind (cultural, recreational, private, etc.) in Utah and other States within the US. Because of demographics, he needed a Spanish-English site.

The Challenge

• Deciding how to structure music production + music events within the same website and domain, if not done correctly, might not be great for SEO
• There was no official business registration

Our Approach

Jair’s business activity requires a solid biography with a strong curriculum, he has that part covered. Yet we had to find a way to present all the information strategically to avoid over extending with a lot of boring paragraphs. Besides that, he also needs a tool to allow him process international payments, e-commerce capabilities to be able to sell tickets for events locally, charge for sponsorships, or even for music production services, because he has never had any. Spanish and English content was required due to the diversity of his clientèle.

Something that we loved to do whenever we can, is helping clients with their business registration, we guided Jair in this process at no cost. After that we feel more comfortable making the legal pages of the website. This also help setting up payments.

Jair’s wife provided us with a huge PDF where we were able to extract his curriculum, as well as the most pixelated pictures someone can imagine. Many of his awards were not even taken in a straight angle so we had upscale and distort the perspective so that everything looks straight. 90% of the pictures in the website where process in Photoshop –and you can find a lot.

After we selected pictures and organized content we went to develop a custom theme, clean and simple.

This was a full branding work, he was happy with his previous logo but it needed a bit of polishing, it was difficult to read. We also came up with a color palette, selected fonts, and after applying that to the WordPress theme.

After that we guided him to to set up his business bank account with Stripe payments, and configured services and orders and payments on his website.

The Outcome

Jair Benitez Productions, not as a website but as a brand, has driven clients looking for professional music producers who Jair didn’t have access before. Since the website creation, many events were promoted and processed through JairBenitezProductions.com.

• Note: After some years, there’s a new strategy that we’re still pending to implement, a separated website for music production, with a different strategy and language. Stay tuned!
