How the Managed Plan Works

During the plan

WebDev & Design manages your website’s technical foundation (domain, hosting, security, and updates), so you can focus on your business.

If a payment is missed

We understand things happen.

• Your website stays online during a grace period.
• If the account remains unpaid, service may be temporarily paused until it’s brought current.

 

Ownership Handoff

After completing the plan, you choose:

Option A: Keep it managed (most common)

Continue with Hosting + Security + Domain:

$450/year or $39.99/month

Option B: Own it and host it anywhere

Pay the $100 Ownership Handoff, and we provide:

• Admin access + credentials handoff
• Full site backup (files + database)
• Domain transfer support (or registrar move)

If you’d like us to migrate the site to a new host for you, we can quote that separately.

When we have logos, pictures, and at least some text/content available, this is how the timeline looks:

Is this a contract?
Yes, this plan is structured to keep monthly costs affordable while we build and manage your site with full support.

Do I own the website right away?
During the plan, it’s a managed website service. After the plan, you can keep it managed or request full ownership through the Ownership Handoff.

What if I need more than 5 pages?
No problem, extra pages are available as add-ons (special requests start at $99).

Can you help with SEO?
This plan includes SEO essentials (indexing, metadata, sitemap). If you want ongoing SEO growth, we can offer it as a separate service.

Can I add online payments or e-commerce later?
Yes. We can upgrade you to an e-commerce plan or build shopping features as an add-on if appropriate.
